"I have loved rooibos tea for years now, both in hot and iced form. Rooibos is very similar to regular black tea, but milder and much sweeter. It is also caffeine free and produces more of a reddish brew. There are many articles on the internet that attest to its rich antioxidant content (some say that it equals or even bests the amount of antioxidants in green tea, so it is a good alternative to green tea for those who do not care for green tea and / or are sensitive to caffeine).
This brewed wonder has affected my life so much that I have written poetry about it. I even made rooibos the preferred beverage of one of the main characters (Victoria) in my book, "Tales from the Boudoir."
Iced with stevia or hot with milk and stevia, or however you want it, you can't go wrong with rooibos. And Dragonwater offers this wonderful tea in an organic form at a great price! I also look forward to trying Dragonwater's green rooibos tea as well. I love it!

"This tea is everything that people say it is! For myself, however, I think it could use more of a bergamot kick. De la creme is a very mild tea overall. The creaminess is more prevalent than the bergamot, especially when milk and sweetner (for myself, this is dragonwater stevia) is added, which makes its taste very distinctive among Earl Grey blends. As another reviewer astutely pointed out, they should also offer this in double shot form. I couldn't agree more. The appearance of this tea is very stunning: among the dark color of the black tea, there are flashes of white and blue. The smell is also a pleasure to the olfactory senses! This tea is wonderful as it is, but I think it should be offered in other blends for those of us who want more of that robust bergamot (by adding more bergamot and a stronger black tea base would also be great) flavor! :-)

Stevia Leaf - Stevia in the raw!

"I've been a fan of stevia forever...of the white powdered version in little packets, so I was excited to find this stevia in its pure green leaf form. It was hard to get used to the leaf stevia at first; it kind of had a "tobacco-like" aftertaste. But after some adapting and adjusting of the amounts, I prefer it much better than its refined white counterparts. It's not only more natural, but it's also much less expensive than the packets or bulk stevia. I found it is most effective to layer it in the tea ball. First, just put a pinch in the bottom of the tea ball, then your chosen tea, then one more pinch on top; this will sweeten it through and through. It is also good by itself, but definitely better added to other teas. I love it with organic rooibos and try this for a treat: a pinch of stevia followed by the recommended amount of rooibos, a pinch of organic peppermint, and a final pinch of stevia. Add milk. An antioxidant / stomach soothing masterpiece in a cup! :-)

"I got this as a sample with my first order. As others have said, it has a very powerful bergamot punch, but I could even take a triple shot! I would also recommend adding bergamot to a stronger-bodied tea like Irish Breakfast. It seems the more bergamot there is in a tea, the more pungent it tastes (almost like grapefruit). But no problems; I liked it better than "Earl Grey de la Creme." "Double shot" is a tea for the "Earl Grey" fanatic! Those new to "Earl Grey" should try this blend first and if you can handle it, this may be "your" tea. If you don't like it, go for the "Earl Grey de la Creme." I will try the "Earl Grey Lavender" next! :-)

"These tea balls are so cute...and so functional! Of course, it depends on the tea, but if you fill half of the ball with loose tea, you're good to go! They are kind of big, so when you take it out of the cup, the water level drops a bit, so just put more water than you would normally. I love these compared to tea bags. :-)

Peppermint - Minty Avalanche!
|

"My husband started drinking peppermint tea when he kept getting frequent heartburn. Within a week, this tea stopped it! He much prefers the "Dragonwater" peppermint tea over the bagged name brand teas. He drinks it with sugar and it's just like drinking one of those soft peppermint candies! And what a great value--and it's organic--what could be better?
